Dr. Jian Liu is an accomplished researcher and academic leader specializing in RF/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, RF energy harvesting, and wireless power transmission. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Guangdong University of Technology, where he leads advanced research in microwave circuits, rectifier design, and sustainable communication systems. Dr. Liu completed his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering at South China University of Technology, following his master’s studies at Hunan University and his bachelor’s degree at Hunan University of Technology. His career includes prior service as an Associate Professor at South China Normal University, where he built a strong research group in RF energy harvesting and wireless power transmission. His research focuses on high-efficiency rectifiers, rectennas, low-noise amplifiers, and wireless power transfer systems that support IoT, smart cities, and next-generation networks. An active IEEE member and reviewer for leading journals, Dr. Liu has contributed significantly to advancing sustainable wireless technologies. His publications in top IEEE journals reflect both theoretical and practical innovations, while his academic service and mentorship highlight his commitment to shaping future engineers.
