Dr. Bose holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from IIT Kharagpur (2021), where she focused on the biochemistry of mono-floral honey proteins and their anti-proliferative activity on cancer cells. She earned her Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Kalyani (2011) and her Bachelor’s in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry from Andhra University (2009), both with First Class distinctions.

Experience 

Currently a Medical Officer at Alena Lifesciences LLP (2023-present), Dr. Bose generates scientific content and manages pharmaceutical reports related to newly launched generic medicines. Previously, she worked as a Research Scientist at Drava Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. (2021-2023), where she researched cancer therapies and trained others in cell culture techniques. Her work includes collaborating with U.S.-based institutions like Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre.

Research Interests 

Dr. Bose’s research interests are centered around cancer biology, molecular docking, synthetic lethality, and downstream protein processing. She is particularly focused on the biochemical interaction between proteins and phenolic compounds in honey, and how these substances can be used for therapeutic applications in oncology.
