PGP graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP) and completed a PhD in Medical and Biological Sciences at the University of Bordeaux II, France. Currently, she is a Coordinator Researcher at UCIBIO/FFUP with a permanent contract and an Affiliate Professor (with Habilitation) at the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto. She has published over 200 papers (h-index 48 – Scopus) in international peer-reviewed journals, authored 13 book chapters, and received 15 prizes or awards. PGP established the research line of Metabolomics applied to cancer biomarker discovery at the Laboratory of Toxicology of FFUP, securing funded projects for its development.

Professor Hai Huang is a distinguished academic and researcher at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, specializing in the study of drug resistance mechanisms in prostate cancer.
