Dr.Abdur Rashid Khan| Plant Pathology| Best Researcher Award
Profiles
Current Position
I am currently affiliated with the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Plant Protection, Nanjing Agricultural University, Jiangsu, P.R. China. My research primarily delves into the genetic and molecular aspects of fungal pathogens, focusing on biological control methods for plant fungal diseases. A key area of interest in my research is the study of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) produced by Bacillus and their role in plant-microbe interactions.
Publication Achievements
I have authored three research articles stemming from my PhD research and have contributed as a co-author to several others in esteemed international journals. These include publications in journals such as Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, Biology, Physiologia Plantarum, Frontiers in Plant Science, and others.
Ongoing Research
Currently, I have two research papers in the pipeline for submission. These papers explore the dynamics of interactions between compatible and incompatible Bacillus isolates and their microbiomes, the impact of Bacillus VOCs on inducing systemic resistance against Gray Mold Disease in tomato, and the antimicrobial metabolites of Bacillus velezensis FZB42 reshaping rice rhizosphere microbial communities.
