Dr. Somi Kim Cho is a distinguished professor in the Department of Applied Life Sciences at Jeju National University. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma, she has made significant contributions to the fields of biotechnology and food science. Her research focuses on bioactive compounds, antioxidant activities, and the health benefits of natural products. Dr. Cho has held several prestigious positions, including Dean of the College of Applied Life Sciences and Director of the Central Library at Jeju National University.
